THE NORTHWAVE LAB CREATES A CUSTOMIZED EXTREME GT2 FOR DOROTHEA WIERER

The italian, three times biathlon world champion and expert road cyclist received the customized Extreme GT2 shoes named “Dorothea” from Northwave. Dorothea Wierer visited the Northwave HQ where she received a special edition of the Extreme GT2 shoes customized exclusively for her by the NORTHWAVE Lab. The shoes, developed with the same colours of the new Pinarello F12 Red Bull edition bike and customized with her name, are the best that Dorothea could have to improve her performance and enjoy the summer training in the Dolomites. Extreme GT2 features a Morph Carbon 12 sole with 100% carbon inserts in the pedal area and a stiffness index of 12.0 to enable the best power transmission. The patented X-Frame 2® construction of the upper, allows to wrap the foot without any pressure point while the double SLW2 closure system permits to differentiate the toe fit from the upper fit increasing the comfort and performance. For a Biathlon athlete, feet comfort is essential. Selecting the best partner, therefore, is extremely important to better face the summer training and to be ready for the winter competitions.
